As a NHS consultant i can categorically confirm that this never happens in my unit or any other unit i have worked at- and without "migrants" (doctors, nurses, other staff) my unit and many others could not deliver NHS care. A shocking claim from an NHS whistleblower: Nurse: “We have no choice, we’re told to do it, we have to do it.” According to the whistleblower, nurses and doctors are being instructed to prioritize migrants over British citizens, leaving locals to wait weeks or even months for critical healthcare. At the Salvador Allende hospital in Havana today, when the Puerto Rican delegation brought their huge suitcases of medicine in. The entire U.S. government didn't want this to happen, and the activists made sure Cuban doctors would get supplies anyway. Incredible people.

The systematic undermining of general practice has consequences that you can't even imagine. When #1 was 2 weeks old, he developed a fever, was grey and floppy with a bulging fontanelle. I called the GP OOH and he was seen within half an hour of my call. IM benzylpenicillin and a week in hospital. That OOH GP saved his life, no question. He has just been offered a place to do an MSc in mathematical and theoretical physics at Oxford - unbelievably competitive. Do I think today's 111 would have achieved the same? Not a chance.

Yesterday's Covid‑19 Inquiry report found that extraordinary efforts by healthcare staff prevented the NHS from collapsing during the pandemic. Doctors and their colleagues carried this burden at immense personal cost. They worked in unsafe conditions, faced trauma and moral injury, as well as burnout that many are still living with today. That’s nonsense because many of the people who get what he calls welfare do in fact Work. And much of this total is paid to pensioners in return for their national insurance and they would certainly not consider it welfare. But it’s fake statistics like these that can influence peoples beliefs.

The Government will collect £331bn in income tax this year, and spend £333bn on welfare. In other words, we now spend more on people not working than we raise from those who do. And the cost? Debt per person has risen from £11.5k in 2000 (inflation adjusted) to over £41k today.
