@OfficeShoes dissatisfied with your delivery service. Ordered shoes as a gift for next day delivery on Fri 10th feb. They were shipped wed 15th (not next day) and went missing. I’ve still not had any reimbursements/ refund and wasn’t able to gift them. sort your customer care out

@RuthSinclair4 An older woman friend of mine was cycling, correctly; a chap cut left of her & overtook from the inside, causing her to fall off her bike, sustaining a broken left wrist which requires surgery: a plate & pins.

I find it so rude when cyclists criticise my bike. I Went past a group of about 8 men and everyone of them criticised my bike or riding ability. I’ve been riding for less than two years and I’m a student who doesn’t earn money. Also I rode PAST them soo.. 🙄

@dlbcycles It is a secondhand carbon fibre trek bike which I got off a friend. The cyclists were commenting on how old the model was and laughing because my wheels were odd. As I student I spent so long saving for this bike and it’s my pride and joy

@RuthSinclair4 You make it sound like you have a 30yr rusty banger. It looks like a carbon fiber Trek road bike 🚲? I don't see a reason to being told off about it, also your kit looks sweet 😍, they were probably just some sexist pigs 🐖 😀. Keep riding. Stay first 😜😎

@zoomgordo I disagree. I think it’s rude for strangers to criticise me like that. It didn’t exactly make me feel great about riding. My bike still cost me £1000 which is an awful lot of money for a student and regardless, as long as I’m safe why should it matter

@zoomgordo The comments involved discussing how my bike was really old, my wheels were odd and my hand pump was really big. I also got comments about my choice of gears and cadence

@RuthSinclair4 I mean if eight separate people criticise your riding ability... maybe they have a point...?

@sophieh63894942 @CaptainBadger3 The comments included saying ‘that’s a bit of an old bike isn’t it’ and ‘that’s a questionable cadence for climbing’ and laughing because my wheels weren’t matching and my pump was too big. No safety aspect at all.

@CaptainBadger3 @RuthSinclair4 If they’re expressing concern about safety elements of someone’s riding in traffic then absolutely, heed their comments. As a cyclist/driver/ped, there are cyclists who seem almost oblivious of other road users. A cyclist ran down/almost killed a pedestrian three days ago in Bow

wanted to say thanks for the overwhelming support. The cycle community is a very friendly one and I have met many friends through it. I just felt dissappointed by these cyclists and wanted to spread awareness that criticising peoples bike/ kit isn’t ok. lets simply enjoy riding!
