Leaving a training @delandbulldogs and a previous 5th grader of mine from @bluelakeselem stops dead in his tracks to recognize me, say I and verify if I’m “still going to my graduation, right? I didn’t forget about that!” 🥰🥹🤭 This is #mywhy ♥️

Kicking Monday off with @AVID4College binders in @Katrina_Daniel_ 4th grade class! Can’t wait to see these fill up and become an educational instrument for our Tigers. @TimbercrestElem

Day 2 of the BEST year yet and as my little one goes thru my photos from the last 48-hours, she says, “Your school looks like so much fun! A lot of fun!” @TimbercrestElem She loves being an honorary Tiger and seeing all of our AMAZING kiddos and staff. 🐅❤️

Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.
