𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓: 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐞𝐬. 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 are public schools—free to attend and open to all students. Yet, compared to ISDs, they 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 $1,600 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭.
