Fourth Precinct Inspector Patrick Mahan

This weekend a little wind didn’t stop the 4th Precinct community from celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. A fun and safe time was had at the St. James Parade and the Station Yards St. Patrick’s event. Erin go Bragh!

A little chilly weather couldn’t stop the St. Patrick’s Parade in Kings Park on Saturday. Pipers, fire departments and residents celebrated their Irish heritage.

While investigating the theft of a bicycle, this young man's only transportation, 4th Precinct Patrol, Investigative, and Community officers contacted Commack Target who generously donated a new bicycle. We are grateful we were able to make his day a bit brighter with new wheels!

On January 12, the members of the 4th Pct Auxiliary Unit were honored for their tireless efforts escorting the Commack chapter of Run For Their Lives, bringing awareness of the Israeli Hostages of October 7 2023.  The unit volunteered every week for two years to ensure safety.
