A Creative Nurse leader I stand at the the intersection of Poetry for social change, nursing education and practice, Cancer care, healthcare leadership and policy making, Politics and governance. Beyound that, I'm certified by the West Africa postgraduate college of nurses and midwives as a disaster and emergency nurse, and a member of the prestigious Oncology Nursing society of Nigeria. If 5–10 overseas nurses (call them sponsors) each put £500 into a common purse, they could literally fund someone’s japa journey. However, the truth is, it’s not about the money, it’s about the structure. 1. Who qualifies for it? 2. At what stage do they get support? 3. When does repayment start? 4. Will the sponsors be patient for the duration of the process? 5. How many people will be eligible at once? A lot of questions to ask and be answered, because without accountability, it will die! Your thoughts?
