This morning, we honored the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
We are saddened each time a new name is added to the Missouri Law Enforcement Memorial’s Wall of Honor, but we are moved by the officers’ heroism, the strength of their families, and the unity of the brothers and sisters of law enforcement who gathered here today.

The Missouri Capitol dome shines blue this weekend as we honor and remember the law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
It takes great courage, strength, and commitment for law enforcement officers to put on their uniform each day knowing that their duty requires them to run toward the dangers that others flee. We have a responsibility to honor the fallen and ensure they are never forgotten.

Our party’s top priority is ensuring that your life, liberty, and property are secure. From every corner of this great state, you should feel secure anywhere and any time. To all the violent criminals using our streets as your playground - your time is up. The adults are back in charge and we will no longer tolerate your lawlessness. If you are a violent criminal in our state, we will prosecute you to the fullest extent and bring back law and order. An NYPD officer was shot by a career criminal—and still walked away. The suspect left on a gurney. Why was this violent offender even on the street? How many more officers have to face this? We’re just grateful the officer wasn’t hurt worse.
