What is Pod building?
A new kind of Layer 1 focused on fast and fair markets.
Instead of relying on traditional block based systems, Pod takes a different approach transactions are streamed directly to validators and processed without strict global ordering.
Because of that, confirmations can happen in around 100–200ms, which feels almost real time.
So what makes it different?
@poddotnetwork removes many of the usual bottlenecks.
No blocks.
No single sequencer or leader.
Less coordination overhead between validators.
Transactions are broadcast across the network, helping reduce delays and improve performance.
Where things are right now?
Still in active development.
Core systems are being tested and refined ahead of the mainnet.
What really stands out to me is the vision.
It’s not just about making things faster.
It’s about rethinking how markets work reducing unfair advantages and making things more balanced for users.
And honestly, that direction feels meaningful.
As for me,
I’m not part of the core team.
I’m here to learn, share what I understand, and help make things easier for others to follow.
There’s a lot ahead.
Excited to follow the journey.
