In other exciting news, our own Lilly B is headed to the Champ game for Team NL U14 girls! And as exciting as that sounds, it’s even more sweet because it was Lilly’s double in the bottom of the 7th that was the nail in the coffin. 🖤❤️ NL Black vs NB 1pm - Peter Barry Duff

Sometimes it’s how you finish - and finish strong we did. Caps end with a huge win over our rivals Paradise in oir 4th and final game. Good luck to the remaining teams and thanks Fredericton and for a wonderful tournament!

There are many versions of heat at National Atlantics, not the least of which is a 38 humidex! We didn’t come out on the right side of the scoreboard for Day 2, but the team & families enjoyed a wonderful day at a beauty spot near the river. Thank you so much to our hosts! 🥰⚾️

Well the hotel is fabulous & Opening Ceremonies gave them all the feels.We took a tough loss to the host team (Freddie) to start off Natl Atlantics,but what a night these boys had. Rallying back from 14-0 to 17-10 once they got settled in.Never count yourself out in baseball ❤️⚾️

For anyone watching, due to weather concerns this weekend the schedule has been revamped. Our Team NL Caps now play today 1230 & 630 Atlantic tome (1/7 in NL) GoCaps!!

We are happy to announce that Nate Benoit from MP Blazers will join our roster at National Atlantics this weekend. We had two spots open and adding Nate will be a perfect complement to our team. We think he is going to look fabulous in red. Welcome Nate! #teamworkmakesdreamwork

And in other news, up in Woodstock our Caps are doing just dandy for Team NL. So far the team has scored 9 runs in just 2 games which is no easy feat during such a competitive national tournie! Way to go team!!! 🥰⚾️

To cap off the weekend, Luke Hudson gets POG today with some stellar pitching, and Henry Pearson takes tournament MVP after 20 innings behind the plate and the scattered stolen base … congrats boys! 🥰⚾️

Not the outcome we had hoped for but once again it came down to the last inning with a fierce Paradise team. Both teams had some outstanding play. Congrats to all teams and thanks Paradise for another well run tournament! See you Thursday…
