Cartons found in the fridge or shelf are recyclable! ♻️😃 Cartons found in the freezer are made with a heavy plastic coating to withstand cold temperatures and cannot be separated in the recycling process. These cartons belong in the trash 🗑️😕

Shredded paper is not accepted in city recycling. Shredded paper (loose or in any kind of bag) should not be put in recycling dumpsters or recycling rollcarts. Shredded paper is too small and falls through sorting machinery.

The Shaw neighborhood has a new drop-off recycling site located at 4200 DeTonty St. Head east on DeTonty from Vandeventer, bins are located behind Mullanphy Elementary School, just west of Klemm.
