A4: Instead of creating activities in Google Slides, we've used other tools like Wixie for our students. That's a bit more accessible, but harder to monitor #justiceingoogleslides

A3: Everyone had an account through HCPSS to access google slides which was really nice! I also like that Google lets you create links to share the slides with anyone. Parents LOVED it! #justiceingoogleslides

@shoff_b Sadly, everything was pushed out so quickly this year that students, families, and staff all needed much more training and support (hmm...good ideas for our internship?!) #justiceingoogleslides

A3 All students in my county have access to Google Slides, but there was very little training pushed out to support students and families on how to use them. #justiceingoogleslides

@CoachB_LovesPE Yes! I absolutely gave up on that one! Making different folders/slides and only sharing it with one person took too long and it wasn't worth the reward. I just ended up doing one document and putting their names on their slide #justiceingoogleslides

A2: Now that I'm on the topic of the drag and drop activities, the one downside was that the students could access the whole document, so they could move others' work as well #justiceingoogleslides

A2: Another barrier for the younger babies have a hard time with the small buttons. A lot of them struggle to press what they want to or move what they want to. They would accidentally delete things too. #justiceingoogleslides

@Tiffanyayi I used the drag and drop as a way for them to practice what they did independently, but I would do it in small groups or whole group so I could supervise #justiceingoogleslides

A1: I didn't use Google Slides at all in my classroom until this past school year. I used Google slides to create drag and drop activities and to create PearDecks #justiceingoogleslides

@DavidMarcovitz Agreed. Presenter mode on Google slides is easier on Google Meet as well. Google slides also lets you look at your notes and present to students at the same time which is nice #justiceingoogleslides

I'm excited to start my new class, ET660: Innovative Digital Schools! I hope to learn new and creative ways to use digital technology and feel confident enough to implement digital innovation in my own school #ET660 #LoyolaET @LoyolaET @ireneamelia1

TWITTER FRIENDS! Help me please...lots of publishers (Scholastic, Holiday House, etc.) have adapted their policies so that teachers can post read alouds, but what if I want to screenshot a text as a printable resource to show examples of text features?? #remotelearning #1stgrade
