President Trump warned "all hell will rain down" on Iran if the country decides to pursue nuclear weapons as both countries agreed to an initial deal to end the war.
"The only thing that really matters to me is Iran will never have a nuclear weapon," Trump said on Tuesday at the G7 summit in France.
The deal is expected to extend the U.S.-Iran ceasefire, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, end a U.S. naval blockade on Iranian ports and launch negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.
