One thing I really appreciate that kinda goes overlooked by most especially those that watch the anime, is that Luffy has little to no thought bubbles throughout One Piece.
There’s moments when he does think yeah, but it’s very brief. He shoots from the heart.

As someone who hasn’t seen much anime (yet), one of my biggest positives One Piece has over others I’ve tried is that Luffy doesn’t do an inner-monologue during his fights lol Ik that’s so random and is just a common anime trope, but it’s always been something that irks me 😭
