I had a call with President of Iran, @drpezeshkian. We discussed the situation in Iran and the Middle East. A ceasefire and a diplomatic solution are urgently needed. I emphasized the need to end the strikes on neighbouring countries and restore freedom of navigation in the Strait Hormuz. Despite the disagreements, it is important to maintain dialogue.

Je déteste Rima Hassan Je pense qu'on devrait la déchoir de sa nationalité française et l'expulser vers la Palestine, simplement parce qu'elle témoigne une déloyauté envers la France et que ça doit être suffisant pour tout naturalisé Mais franchement ça a quel sens d'utiliser des moyens de police pour faire la police de la pensée ? Amir-Hossein Hatami, manifestant iranien de 18 ans arrêté le 8 janvier janvier 2026 à Téhéran a été exécuté ce jeudi 2 avril 2026, a annoncé l'Autorité judiciaire en #Iran. « Amir-Hossein Hatami a été pendu à l'aube aujourd'hui » pour avoir commis des actes « portant atteinte à la sécurité nationale pour le compte du régime sioniste et des Etats-Unis », a indiqué le site Mizan Online, organe du pouvoir judiciaire iranien, ajoutant que ces actes incluent une tentative d'intrusion dans un « centre militaire » afin de « s'emparer des armes qui y étaient stockées ». L'adolescent avait été condamnée à mort le 9 février dernier pour « inimitié à l’égard de Dieu » par la 15e chambre du tribunal révolutionnaire de Téhéran, au motif qu’il aurai incendié une base des miliciens pro-régime bassidjis. « Amirhossein Hatami a été exécuté à la suite d'un procès manifestement inéquitable et sur la base d'aveux extorqués », a réagi Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, directeur de l'ONG de défense des droits de l'homme @IHRights. « L'exécution de trois manifestants et de quatre prisonniers politiques en seulement deux semaines indique que le régime a intensifié sa guerre contre le peuple iranien.»

@pegobry_en As it stands, Europe is much more exposed to the Iran threat than the US is and that makes Europe's response most despicable. It's also possible that Europe no longer is able to respond to military threats and just hides this inability as some kind of a moral choice.
