
I always thought since my foundational strength was copywriting, I would always try to hire other skills around my offer so I could focus on that.
Reality for me is that I got pulled in so many other directions to answer questions *only I can answer*
This actually creates a massive hole for an offer structured around having great marketing. If you're supposed to be writing the copy, while also managing 50 other vital operational things to keep the offer afloat, then your marketing suffers.
I've read before that best situation is to try to hire someone who can do 80% as good of a job as you. Seems counterintuitive if marketing for example is "your moat." But I can definitely see now why people say this.
