I’ve spent the last week with a multi-material budget friendly flagship that everyone’s been eyeing. There’s a lot of talk about "pro-level" features, but I wanted to see how the hardware actually handles high-speed flow and filament swaps in a real-world enclosure. Is this the compact powerhouse we’ve been waiting for, or are there hidden trade-offs in the assembly?

@aewithh paid 250$ for UPS to pack my PC, then moved from US to EU, and PC was destroyed. Self expanding foam bags are going to do wonders, if not, remove the graphics card and hard drives, basically anything large or heavy and pack separately. youtube.com/watch?v=t6LeOq…

if you guys have a bulky pc, how do you move it when you guys move overseas? do you disassemble it and ship it or do you just not bring it over? >__<

@iliketomakestuf I had the OG ones when I was a kid and remember looking at the show and the toy and was like... "ummm". Did you ever see the printable versions from the show (non transformable) and the other construction models that actually transform and merge?

@entola @joeltelling Sorry to say, nor just 3D printing history in general. David is a legend in this community. One who always helped others out so much. You might be trying to give examples of what might have happen, but that is a very poor example to use when it comes to David.

@joeltelling That’s odd, it’s not typical that CEOs leave so quickly that companies have to scramble. It’s also odd that the CEO of a partner swoops in as interim. Randolph either is leaving before the crash, or this is a Prusa buyout coming.

(5) over the weekend. If you would like to do something, then do a random act of kindness for someone you know, some stranger or something for your favorite charity. Helping someone out was what my mom always did and continuing her legacy would be the best to remember her.
