What really made Nikki “Freaky Nikki”? I’m dying to know what the actual Nikki did in her past. Maybe the possessed version is just cranking up what she’s already capable of—hell, she might’ve straight-up made an altar for a dead cat. Bear never knew the real her. He was just simping for an idealized fantasy. And that Hansel & Gretel retelling? If that’s a peek into her inner world… phew, he never would’ve made it out alive, wish or no wish. Did you even pay attention to the literal text of the film? She’s not built from "Bear's memories." The One Wish Willow didn't create a new entity; it channeled the closest source of unconditional devotion available, which was Bear's dead cat, Sandy, who had just died from the pills. When Nikki says "My cat died", it’s literally Sandy’s consciousness experiencing post-manifestation confusion before adjusting to Nikki’s vocal cords. It explains why she later digs up the corpse to make the sandwich, why she pees on the floor, and why she literally vomits up cat food later. It’s an explicit soul-transference mechanic, not a memory stitch. Rewatch it. #Obsession
