The idea of nursing staff wanting better pay conditions is to make the profession financially appealing & safer. Staff retention is a biggy and by offering what is basically a crap bung to keep us quiet is a shambles. It’s a can kicked down the road. @theRCN it isn’t good enough.

@PolitiCommsGal @BasilTheGreat Didn’t bother him when making the initial decision? Seems to love election meddling Ban social media for u16s yet allow 8 year olds to ‘change gender at school’ Allow 16 year olds to vote 3 years to make sure he drills into the kids how bad each party is other than Labour. @BasilTheGreat A U-turn to comply with the law? It sounds like Starmer chose to respect the courts. I see that as responsiveness, not a broken promise. Here's another way to look at it, and why truth helps everyone.

@GBNEWS This government is anti-working and pro-benefits. They lie to raise taxes. The lie about financial ‘black holes’. They put party before country by blocking @AndyBurnhamGM running. They are horrifically anti-democratic. This government isn’t fit to govern.

@mancityfever2 Lots of moaning here. Do you all not remember where Sunderland are in the league? Unbeaten at home etc. We played well, just wouldn’t drop but it could have been worse too. Relax 🧘‍♂️

@EddyGray19 @mancityfever2 Banger season by you lot! The atmosphere at that ground is sensational! The supporters need to take a bow. I'm gutted that we dropped the points, but it doesn't feel so bad doing it there. The season depends on the Gonzalez injury. If he's out too long we're doomed.😭

@SamuelSmith87 @ElectionMapsUK @FindoutnowUK Not with this polling company. Irrespective of that a 12 point lead is no-where near enough to expect to replace a government at this point in the cycle. Especially when the average across all is far lower. There’s a good reason why no-one is concerned about Reform/NF.

@PolitlcsUK @Telegraph Work 4 days and work 40 hours vs working 5 days and working ….. 40 hours. What’s the difference? It’ll actually help with the BS stealth zero emission stuff the government are milking by having less traffic on the road for a day but then they’d lose on fuel tax wouldn’t they 🧐

BREAKING The electoral commission warns that delaying local elections for 9million+ people until 2027 risks undermining 'the legitimacy of local decision making and damaging public confidence' It says that the 'capacity constraints' caused by reform of local government are not a 'legitimate reason for delaying long planned elections' It says that scheduled elections should go ahead as planned Follows @MaxKendix on delays 'Voters must have a say on those that represent them at local government. We will work with the UK Government on these plans so that we can support voters, campaigners, parties and administrators who have been preparing for these elections'

@labourpress You forget about the skilled workers. Nurses for example. NMW is nearly touching the starting wage for a university qualified nurse! Experienced nurses are seeing no improvement advancement in wage. There’s zero financial incentive to be a ‘skilled’ practitioner.
