Well, I don’t post often as I keep a low profile, but here’s what I want to show y’all. My own Pokémon Trainer OC! Made by someone else as an alternative reward after winning a Pokemon Showdown tournament that I won. Hope y’all enjoy.

@Venonat331 Oh yeah, it’s quite interesting. This was before Pokémon Stadium 1 and released exclusively in Japan back in August, 1998. Only 40+ species of Pokémon were available as the all the others are banned from battling but could still be viewed in-game.

Oddish didn’t stand a chance. 😅 I remember how I used to choose 2 Pokémon that I thought were cute to battle each other like this on Pokémon Stadium 2 as a kid. This makes me want a Pokémon Stadium 3. 😭🏟️

@Venonat331 It’s actually quite similar to Pokémon Stadium 0 (or simply Pocket Monsters Stadium) where Pikachu is also the only unevolved Pokémon in that game like we see in Pokémon Champions. Plans for such Pokémon will be implemented later at least through an interview.

@SandslashPlayer Yeah, you’re right. The only thing that I don’t like about Champions is that the unevolved Pokémon aren’t in the game from the start.

@Venonat331 Yup, it’s true on Bulbapedia down at the Trivia section. The reason was for balancing reasons with Ken Sugimori noting that the designer for the Frillish line was disappointed that they ended up becoming scary Pokémon.

I remember hearing a while back that it was allegedly supposed to be a pure Water type. They made it part Ghost last minute because they needed more Ghost types in Unova’s Pokédex. I’m not sure if this is true or not. 🤔🪼👻

Rabies is 100% fatal if you don’t get that vaccine AND the US only has enough smallpox vaccines stockpiled for the Armed Forces. We test to keep it out of gen pop cause it’s OVER if it becomes endemic again. Thanks MAGA

@halobladeUNITE You know, I might actually stop playing UNITE sometime after Pokémon Champions is out because… Oh, the investment! So little time and whatnot. I plan to make it a grand finale somehow by posting some of my best clips.

I've realized that lately I've been so much happier not playing Unite than I have been playing Unite. On one hand: yay! On the other: it's so over RIP my # 69 worldwide spot

@CosmicBeanThing @constarlations There’s some that make sense for the Pokémon in general like Vulpix learning Quick Attack because it’s a fox, Milotic with Aqua Tail, obviously, and you got some Pokémon like Runerigus learning Dragon Pulse which gives interesting lore implications to its clay slab.

@constarlations It sucks when special attackers get unnecessary physical moves and vice versa

I’m trying to raise a Vanillite in BW for the first time and for months I was like “man why isn’t avalanche doing any damage” only to realize she’s a special attacker all this time

Somehow I’m only 47% toxic. Just a few more added to the percentage and it’s a clean 50/50 all across the board. Fitting considering my track record for being a Pokémon UNITE player and how I lose my cool rather easily.

@ChitoseCitron While Danber is pretty competitive, he does prefer to take breaks and relax to avoid stress. He would probably want to chat with Chitose at a café as they eat out and discuss their love interests.

@Venonat331 Ahh yes, Jynx. It was really good back in older games, but as more Pokémon were introduced, it seemed to have been left behind in spite of some good qualities Jynx has over other Psychic-type Pokémon. I always saw Jynx being related to Mr. Mime compared to Electabuzz and Magmar.

And I feel like Jynx should’ve been one of them. I’ve always thought of her, Electabuzz and Magmar were a trio and that she should’ve gotten an evolution when they did. 😭

@Venonat331 Yeah this format is pretty unique compared to the Little Cup. Some other Pokémon that are banned in the Petit Cup if this were brought back include Girafarig, Sneasel, Duraludon, Alolan Geodude, Alolan Sandshrew, and sadly worst of all, Riolu.

@SandslashPlayer I didn’t know they based it off of how much they weighed. I just thought it was only for unevolved Pokémon.

@Venonat331 That’s funny, because… Cacenea is unfortunately not eligible as it weighs over 113 lbs., what??? I swear, these Pokémon have really strange weight values that you wouldn’t expect.
