Regarding the below article from @BBCWorld, this is effectively reporting on Ecodesign finally coming into force this Sept in its EU and UK versions, and so what it reports is essentially true for domestic type lighting. 1/2

This is pretty catastrophic and typical of exporting specialist lamp production to outside contractors and closing EU and USA factories. Has anyone experienced the problem or know who still makes PAR64 apart from OSRAM?

@TheStage Now is the time for ALL venues to start assessing their requirements for moving to more efficient lighting throughout their buildings, and not just on stage. Budgets need to be created in order to fund future projects to replace older technology over the next five years.
