One clarification since this post is blowing up. Practicing and being observant are not the same thing. Judaism has always had Jews across that spectrum. You can be a practicing Jew and still be secular. Practicing means you participate in Jewish life. You identify with the Jewish people. You carry the memory, history, and responsibility of the Jewish nation. Observant means you follow the commandments. Both have always existed in Jewish life. But here’s the part many people misunderstand. Torah isn’t a flat, immutable object you just read once and declare fixed. It’s a living tradition. It’s studied. Debated. Interpreted. Lived in community. That’s why Jews study Torah alongside Rambam, Rashi, and generations of commentary. You also don’t get to write off an entire tradition because you disagree with one line. Judaism has wrestled with its own texts for thousands of years. The real danger isn’t secular Jews. The real danger is when Torah disappears completely. Because when that happens, something else always replaces it. For many Jews in the modern West, progressive politics filled that space. Not because they hate Judaism. Because people need a moral framework. The question is where that framework comes from.

The only people guilty of genocide are the ones who attacked Israel on 10/7. The same goes for starvation. Have you seen what the Israeli hostages looked like? Apartheid? Have you tried entering an Arab town in Judea and Samaria? And the list goes on. Israel’s enemies use their people to protect their weapons. - Hamas has overwhelming support in the streets of Gaza and Judea and Samaria. The vast majority of people there are not innocent. - Any country that would have experienced a 10/7 would have flattened Gaza completely. Israel warned civilians with flyers and text messages before attacking in a place where there are civilians thereby eliminating the element of surprise. No other army would do that. - The Quran is jam packed with verses calling for Muslims to kill all infidels and to them an infidel is anyone who is not Muslim. - In Gaza, they murder minorities including LGBTQ, women, and anyone who doesn’t support Hamas. - The only colonialists in the Middle East are Arabs. Try opening a map and you can’t miss it. - Israel wants nothing other than to live in peace. Israel has no interest in conquering Gaza, Lebanon, or anywhere else. All Israelis want is to be left alone. - The Jewish people constantly punch above their weight.
