Empathy and fairness lead me to conclude that inflicting unnecessary pain on others is a bad thing. Do you not agree. (with the conclusion, if not the reasoning)?

@JackSlaterPT @Askwhyisit @darwintojesus The subjectivity doesn’t negate anything. Some pain is acceptable, some is not.It is part of every judgement. Belief in an absolute morality based on your book means you believe sex trafficking is moral, but I don’t believe that you truly feel that way.

@JackSlaterPT @Askwhyisit @darwintojesus Atheism is simply absence of belief in any gods.It in itself makes no moral claims.My morals (just as yours are,unless you agree that sex trafficking is moral) are derived from reason, empathy, fairness and social norms, then attributed to God.
