Gasp!" I won't defend Pittman to the degree of saying he should be comfortable in his job position... but I do think a very large portion of the fanbase doesn't take the full picture into account. Losing sucks, there isn't a lot of excitement surrounding the program, and everyone wants to improve, but also, maybe expectations should shift for the program? Unless they start scheduling like a Cignetti and paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to get out of tough non-conference matchups and instead solely playing FCS and middling G5 schools. That's the path to the nine wins the fanbase so craves (which Pittman did get to in 2021, btw).
