Sweeney on what Hagens needs to improve on: “It’s off -puck details. There’s a few players in this league who can outscore some deficiencies, but the details. The space is limited, the stakes are higher.” Says he has to be a more complete player and be more invested in details.

@dpouche1211 @_TyAnderson I would say it's a big step up from where it was 18 months ago. Still, making reads at NHL speed, not overcommitting, and applying pressure at that level is a challenge for almost everyone. Not sure I'd frame it as expecting him to outscore his problems, just a hurdle to comfort.

NHL Draft Simulator updates: - Philly's 4th was attributed to Anaheim but it now properly flows through to Boston. - Tweaked the trade logic to be a bit tighter and more realistic. Thanks for the feedback! Some great ideas for features to bake in soon. …oodest-nhl-draft-simulator.base44.app

Oh one last caveat I forgot about. Mobile/tablet version of this tool is a mess, especially on a phone. Highly, highly recommend using a web browser on a real computer. Working on more dynamic sizing/scaling but the desktop version is the focus for now.

To be clear as an example, my standings scraping needs to be tweaked/refined. As of right now Edmonton, Vegas and Nashville all appear in the lottery instead of the Islanders, Washington and Philadelphia. If you're a fan of those teams, oopsiedoodles... For now.
