7.
4️⃣ Character development (through football)
Not talks.
Not lectures.
But learning to:
→ try again after mistakes
→ compete properly
→ respect teammates and opponents
→ take responsibility
All inside training and games.
@pieandbov Need to put aside 3.5 hours to watch a game between commercial breaks, pre match events/campaigns and copious amount of added time due to VAR! Can’t wait 🤯
Starting to feel a bit deflated about the World Cup tbh.
The awful ticket allocations, the eye watering price of those tickets, the abysmal resale platform that is literally licensed touting.
Then the games themselves.
The dreadful kick off times for everyone at home are bad enough and now we’ve got breaks in play every 20 minutes regardless of the weather.
I think we can all guess what those breaks are really for and it’s not about the players safety. More FIFA greed.
Still hoping to go over but it’s a fairly shite state of affairs IMHO.
How many snowflake parents will be triggered by a teacher who is having her students learn:
• to pay attention to their surroundings
• hand eye co-ordination
• work both as a team and individuals
• have fun
• get exercise
• take a knock down and get back up
On yourself Owen! 🥈👍⛳️🏌️♂️
