@greatsage435 The hate was because Bandai released an incomplete game for over a year and a half and charged players way too much for it.

The hate train for this game was more or less newbies not understanding Budokai tenkaichi was an inherently casual series. It was never meant to be some esports contender or GOTY. Just a fun DB game and that's exactly what we got.
