I'm sorry, but this is so far from tragic... this is exactly what we need more of in the Premier League. Noisy young fans bringing vibrancy to stadiums where the average age of a fan is creeping past mid-forties. Make their tickets cheaper, give them more standing room.

Nico O'Reilly was the only Man City player to have a shot on target in that game but I keep hearing 'football won'

There was nothing “genius” about what Pep did yesterday btw. There’s a reason teams don’t usually play 4 players high and narrow. If 4 players push high, there’s going to be space out wide and in behind them. Arsenal simply failed to adapt.

@andcot @OlisaOsega No, not sure how you can come to that conclusion. City had over 60% possession and the game mostly played in your half. You chose to sit back with 11 behind the ball and had no plan to get out with the game at 0-0. You only got spells after the goals where they sat off.

Now that dust has settled. Arsenal didn’t play a low block or “park the bus” against City yesterday. I don’t know where that narrative is coming from. City pinned us in our half and stopped us from playing, which is actually worse and very worrying.

Peter Bankes was absolutely atrocious, there’s no denying that. The first half he was shocking. No escaping that both City goals come from Hincapie’s side who was wrongly booked. But Arsenal second half was pathetic. Kepa was worse. Arteta’s tactics horrible. Both true.
