@elevennames @DLGenealogist The only one pre-1783 stones that immediately come to mind are the reasonably well-known stones for Flova (d. 1778), Thomas (d. 1783), and Nero (d. 1776) in Princeton; all were enslaved by the Gill family. Photo 4 is what I believe are fragments of Nero’s footstone.

Here's another entry to close out #CreepyDollWeek: here's 2014.60.1089, a doll whose head, arms and feet are made of ceramic and are attached to a body made from coarse netting stuffed with sawdust. It was made between 1900 and 1920, and was owned by Marie Quinlan of Barre.
