Wouldn't it be simpler and safer to start putting tags in roads to guide the vehicles that insist on driving themselves?

@KawasakiKR11 That's true, but in going to a doctor or hospital I would be exposing more people than I otherwise would see during that period. But there will be many asymptomatic carriers and testing isn't very useful. Outside of isolated places like Antarctica, everyone is going to be exposed

@ServiceTezzla Even if you self-quarantine for a month every time you get sick, you can still be a vector.

Coronavirus test in Japan is to cost up to 18,000 JPY (~$164). i.e. out-of-pocket expense is 5,400 JPY (~$49) at most. Likely less in most cases. How much do you expect to pay out of pocket, if you need one?

@coinaday1 Many of the actual astronauts smoked, and would smoke immediately after landing. If tech exists to cure cancer and generate oxygen, there would be no reason not to.

@KawasakiKR11 I work from home and might only interact with others in person a few minutes a week. That suggests almost everyone else already is infected. If I suspected an infection it would not be a big deal to self-quarantine using food reserves I already have.

@ServiceTezzla If I can afford it, I'd rather be tested & if positive, be at hospital/quarantine facility. Early detection also is beneficial to the community. But YMMV.

@viviennestone @Tesla If the charging port doesn't work, you can charge using regenerative braking. Just tow the vehicle to the top of nearby hill and go down while riding the brakes a few dozen times each morning and you will be good to go.

@KawasakiKR11 Again, I would prefer not to be tested ever. Whatever I have either my immune system fights it off or I die. If I did consume a service I'd pay cash for it, and they might try and overcharge, but not enough to challenge my after tax pay for a day. I'd pay more to avoid tests.

@ServiceTezzla Here is a scenario. You suspect you might have it. You can get a free testing in a month, or you can pay to get tested immediately. How much, if any at all, would you pay?

@KawasakiKR11 You always have a choice, I don't believe medical treatment can be constitutionally compelled on adults in the US. I could be quarantined, but even if they could compel a test during quarantine, the government would have to pay since they ordered it against my wishes.

@agusnox I personally would love to have kids, I just don't want other people to have them. Not that I would try to prevent it, I just know what is in my own interest. Not enough resources.

@DBrateris @sbalatan @elonmusk How is that even possible? In order to prevent people from calling the Springfield service center changes its phone number 3 times a day without telling anyone. Rest assured Elon will figure out who leaked the number changes and deal with it appropriately.

@elonmusk been trying to get in touch with Tesla Springfield service center for almost 2 weeks, call 2-3 times/day, no one ever answers... getting very frustrated here

@Tesla thoroughly disappointed with my entire experience with Lynnwood WA service center. Communication has been so bad that it’s almost unbelievable. So disappointed considering how much money I spent on my defective model 3. How are YOU fixing this?
