This young man was murdered by the Nigeria Police Force in Effurun, Delta State. He was not resisting. He was not fighting back. He was already on the ground, tied up, completely helpless. They shot him at close range anyway. This is not policing. This is execution. This is what the Nigeria Police Force does to its own people and gets away with it every single time because we stay silent. Not today. Share this. Repost it. Quote it. Flood every timeline. Let this reach every corner of this country and beyond. Say his name. Demand justice. Never let them bury this. #EndPoliceBrutalityInNigeria #NigerianLivesMatter

It’s scary that you can wake up, go out to get something to eat, and not make it back home all because of police brutality. No one deserves to lose their life for nothing. This has to stop. #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY

I know of a woman who just lost her husband and that’s sad. He didn’t leave any inheritance or property for his family. Instead he left them huge debt. The creditor came, stood at her door and said your husband owed me and I’m here to take the boys to work it off. Her two sons moved closer, gripping her wrapper. They were still children too young to understand debt, but old enough to feel fear. She had nothing. No money, no family to call and nothing left to sell. One son whispered, Mummy… are we going with him? She couldn’t answer. Tears gathered, but even crying felt useless now. Everything was slipping, and she was standing there, empty-handed. What do you think the woman should do at this point of loosing her two sons to slavery?

@Victor_Odumosu That’s not legal. A husband’s debt cannot be transferred to his children, and no creditor has the right to take them. She should refuse and seek help from authorities immediately.

@Victor_Odumosu Where's the proof her husband was actually owing him? And what if he does? Is there any legitimate claim that in case of death of a debtor, the family is liable for the payback? His debt is called 'bad debt' under business law, it will be written off. PERIOD!!

18 years is still not a legal age here. Remember that. 21 is the age. As a grown up, you have no business being in a relationship with a pikin who's below 21.

'I'm 28, a very pretty young lady from a family of 6. I'm a married woman, having gotten married last December. My mind is being bothered. I'm the first & only daughter of my parents, & the third-born. I don't come from a rich home. As the only girl, a very beautiful one at that, my family has always had their hopes on me as the one who will liberate them from poverty. Sadly, dad passed away when I just became an adult. Luckily, I married a successful businessman. He takes care of me & my family, alright. But I'm bothered at this point because he plans to put up a modern building for his mom. I equally asked him to build for both mothers so it doesn't sound like my own family is being discriminated against, but he's not happy. Instead, he told me that if it's like that, then this marriage is not going anywhere. Even before our marriage, he was saying that he wasn't ready to get married because he planned to build a house for his mother first. I advised him that he can still build even when we are married because I thought he would take long to marry me. He was sourcing money to build his mother a house because she's renting. I was in support and I am still in support. I'm not denying that he should support his family; the problem is he's not considering that my mother also needs a house and is still living in my father's old, outdated building with my younger siblings. Even my mom is beginning to complain after seeing him start up a building plan for his mom in the village while she still stays in an old home because it just sounds so discriminatory, and I don't want to let my family down, who rely on me. I thought he would build houses for both parents; we are no longer dating, we are officially and legally married. How is my family, and even my friends who look so highly of me, going to look at me watching my man build a home for his mother while putting my mother on hold or aside completely? He's saying the money he has only caters for one house. Why can't he divide it & rather go gradually until the 2 buildings are completed? I thought marriage means both partners are one & sharing ideas and equally supportive of each other. Instead, my own husband makes me feel like I forced him into this marriage. How do I deal with this situation? Please, I need your support & guidance."

We almost ended our relationship... The day she showed up in a revealing top… I told her if she ever let me have sex with her before marriage, we were done. ”That one sentence changed everything. We had already agreed on a different kind of courtship. No sex. No physical crossing of lines. Just intentional building. It wasn’t easy, but we were trying. Then she came over that evening. Nothing unusual at first… until she sat down. I noticed it immediately. Not anger. Not judgment. Just concern. I stayed quiet for a moment longer than usual. She could feel something was off. Finally, I spoke. Not loudly. Not harshly. Just clear. “If there ever comes a day,” I said, “that you allow me to have sex with you before marriage… this relationship will end. ”The room went still. She didn’t reply immediately. That statement changed something between us. Not because it was controlling, but because it forced a line we could both see. There were awkward days after that. Moments of tension. Moments of testing. But something deeper also formed, discipline. We learned to respect boundaries we didn’t always feel like keeping. To step back instead of stepping over. To choose long-term clarity over short-term impulse. Months turned into a year. Then another. And when people asked how we made it, we never talked about perfection. We talked about boundaries that held us when feelings tried to rush ahead.

Oh wow, what is wrong with men of nowadays. Call me modern, but I believe a woman’s body is hers completely and without permission from anyone. What she chooses to wear, how she expresses herself, and what she posts online are all part of her personal freedom. A healthy relationship isn’t built on control or ‘allowing’ someone to exist a certain way. It’s built on trust, understanding, and mutual respect. The moment you start using words like ‘I won’t allow,’ it shifts from partnership to control and that’s not love. Everyone has preferences, and that’s fine. But preferences should guide your choices, not restrict someone else’s freedom. If something makes you uncomfortable, the mature thing is to communicate openly and respectfully not to impose rules. At the end of the day, a confident man doesn’t feel threatened by a woman expressing herself. He respects her individuality, supports her choices, and trusts the foundation of the relationship. You don’t own a woman, you partner with her. And partnership means both people have the freedom to be themselves. Nevertheless, you can allow your woman to dress naked in public but my woman knows what awaits her if I see this kind of pictures online. Shalom o

Another episode of Nigerians are worse than the leaders they criticize. So you might be wondering why this guy’s hands are tied like that. Well, he’s not a thief or an armed robber… so what did he do? There’s a guy named Obinna. He traveled to Kuwait 🇰🇼 and spent years working hard to make money. When he finally made it, he came back home and went straight to the East, his village. On getting there, he realized all the roads were bad. No development, nothing. So he decided to build the roads himself, even before building his own house. When the youths of the village heard about it, they went to his house and told him he must pay them ₦50M before he can build the roads… the same roads all of them will use ooo. Obinna thought it was a joke, but they were serious. To avoid trouble, he said, “Okay, I’ll give you ₦10M so peace can reign,” but they refused. He then went to the village women and explained everything. The women told him not to give the youths a kobo, and that the ₦10M he wanted to give them should be used to install streetlights after building the road. After that meeting, Obinna started work immediately. He brought in contractors, tools, and materials. But the youths came back again and ordered the workers to stop working immediately. While contractor was trying to explain, they started beating him and poured away the oil being used for the road… and you know that oil is very expensive. The contractor called Obinna and he heard about what's happening, He mobilized youths from a neighboring village, along with the police and army, and they went straight to the scene. When those youths saw what was coming they ran. But unfortunately for this one in the picture, he was caught beating and tied like a thief. Now tell me… does he deserve this treatment, or even more?
