Bot detection tools play a vital role in helping journalists combat the spread of mis- and disinformation online. Twitter can, and should, ensure that the API access necessary to operate these tools remains available and affordable.

I can’t remember a time before I knew of, and loved, Judy Garland. She, like Audra, never ceases to inspire me and bring me joy. Happy Birthday, Judy! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us. We are forever in your debt.

More accurately: the great @charliehogle agreed to co-author an article with me! We may not see eye-to-eye on who deserves the credit, but we definitely agree on the importance of anti-SLAPP laws.

JOURNOS in MN: wear press badge so police know TRO applies to you & even though it should prevent you from being arrested for failure to disperse, TRO only applies to state police (@MnDPS_DPS & @MnDPS_MSP) so safer course is to disperse if an order is issued. @rcfp
Mickey Osterreicher@nppalawyer

just participated in a call with MN @GovTimWalz , his staff & other media representatives re: situation in Minneapolis &Brooklyn Center. They assure TRO will be followed w/ Media exempt from any dispersal orders. Will no longer photograph media members and their credentials
