@DuendePika I wondered the same but I have figured it was because of the pandemic, tiktok and Co. Because of this, it has been exposed more than the toxicity in other Fandoms to the general public. It's not worse than all the other fan bases, it just got the spotlight due to circumstances

I always wonder about this. I've been in this fandom since 2021, so I definitely missed some things, but I don't understand why everyone acts like it's the worst fandom in existence. I feel like anybody who says that has not had very much experience with fandoms in general.
