OK, I think I finally figured out why Twitter can be such a shitty experience. When you tweet something, your friends read it in your voice and with all the knowledge of you. Other people read it like a document is read in court. Devoid of character and context.

Dear Editors (married to a wife or a husband): In recent media coverage of a gift that my husband (ironic usage) and I made to the New England Historical and Genealogical Society, we became Stephen King and his wife. Wife is a relationship or status. It is not an identity.

My 3 year old deploys politeness as a weapon. “You need to be asleep now.” “No thank you, dadda. I am awake thank you.” And then talks to himself, half awake and half asleep, like a child in a horror movie. “No. I am Ash. I am a little boy.”

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. #fact #word #quote #quotes
