Roosevelt Park substation, Northcliff South distributor : The outage which is caused by a double fault has been 73% restored. The remaining will stay off due to seven load centers that are off.

Block 2 has had power for 15 mins over the last 36 hours. No updates from @CityPowerJhb since 21:50 last night when they stated that all is repaired and power is fully restored. What is going on? Have you just decided to ignore us for 12 hours again like yesterday?
There is still no power, but you won’t see this because all your batteries are flat by now. We might have a look at it later, but either way your bill is in the mail.

Hursthill Substation: Claremont/Wesberry Standby distributor tripped affecting Newlands, Newclare, Westbury, Claremont and surrounds. The team is currently on site investigating the cause of the outage.
Roosevelt Park Substation : Northcliff South distributor tripped affecting Northcliff and surrounds. The team will attend to this outage after completing the task at hand.
ETR on both outages will be communicated as soon as it becomes available.

@WikusOtto@CityPowerJhb They are lying. They have been waiting for replacement cable from stores for hours, and they don’t want to admit it because it reveals a broken supply chain. CC agent told me it’s not their fault it’s their supplier. I wonder if it’s because the supplier hasn’t been paid.
@CityPowerJhb How come your call centre agent could tell me what the issue was 3 hours ago but you’re saying techs have just arrived on site? 3 hours ago your agent told me it was a faulty cable and they have been waiting for a replacement cable to be delivered for hours with no update

But when I wait for 30 mins on hold for your call centre they tell me that it is faulty cable, and new cable has still not been dispatched from stores 12+ hrs after you became aware. So you know what the situation is but you lie to us

@CityPowerJhb What is the point of the schedule? Yesterday we were off for virtually the entire day and today the same. And I just received an SMS telling me my CoJ rates are going up, while I sit in the dark eating dry 2 minute noodles.
