I'm gonna regret replying here, but it's Sunday and I'm bored. Slafkovsky and Cooley are two completely different players. Cooley is slicky smooth on ice. Slaf is a tank. One can control the game, and one powers through the game. There's no way to compare the two.

No idea about the injury, but the Habs need to call up Reinbacher for the rest of the season so he can get used to the wear and tear of playing good pro players. This cup is up for grabs and the way the Habs are playing, good goaltending, scoring at opportunistic times,Cole shooting for 50, Nick shooting for 100 pts, there's a great story being written here.

Stating the obvious here but holy frack the Habs winning in Nashville and Raleigh is huge. Flyers, Jackets, Bruins, Wings, Sens and Isle are all fighting for three spots. While some call it parity, I call it the worst NHL season ever. A lot of bad teams are making the playoffs. The first round will be filled with sweeps and five game series. Habs will have to keep on keeping On. Raise your hand if on the day the Leafs hired Treliving you said to your buddies. "Hiring a guy who single handedly destroyed the Flames should work out well." I am watching Porter Martone (like Hagens) like a hawk these next few years. Unlike most Habs fans, I thought bringing in Laine was premature. Drafting high last season should have been the priority. I was happy to see Arber get some ice, then I watched a few shifts where he was so bagged he stood the in the def zone like he was 8, standing beside his man, sucking dirty pond water (P. McGuire). It's like watching old beer leaguers who played D their entire lives play forward. It's a hackey thing. No predictions for tonight, the Habs are due for stinker. #GoHabsGo

Bednar is coaching two of the best players on the planet, the Avs who are expected to be the best team in the league, are exactly that. They coach themselves. He's a fine coach, but he's not the reason they're one of the best teams in the league. I bet Lindy Ruff wins it, and it won't even be close. That Sabres team was a complete mess, and now they're a Cup contender. I have the Avs winning the Cup. The West is terrible, if the Avs don't walk away with the West, I'll be shocked.

I have instructed the relevant authorities that Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch, be granted full and immediate access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Over the past several days, Iran has repeatedly targeted the holy sites of all three monotheistic religions in Jerusalem with ballistic missiles. In one strike, missile fragments crashed meters from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. To protect worshippers, Israel asked members of all faiths to temporarily abstain from worshipping at the Christian, Muslim and Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem’s Old City. Today, out of special concern for his safety, Cardinal Pizzaballa was asked to refrain from holding mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Even though I understand this concern, as soon as I learned about the incident with Cardinal Pizzaballa, I instructed the authorities to enable the Patriarch to hold services as he wishes.

In the early 90's my infantry company spent two weeks, maybe longer in Coopermine, NWT. Over 100 men, Artic freeze, ZERO causualties. Just to get to our destination we spent over 12-16 hours sitting on open qamutiik's, at least -30 and who knows what it was with the wind chill. We were so cold we were ANGRY with each other, and out of our minds. Storm hits our destination, we spent three days in our 10 man tents.....only leaving to use the bathroom......infantry style winter bathrooms? You don't want to know. Thankfully our camp was near an old dump, and we found this 8 foot freezer, we stood it upright and put our winter-shitter inside. Working in cold weather is all about planning and preparation, training, care of equipment and Leadership! No one wanted to be the weak man in. ME? I smiled the entire, I also fed off the weak. We were also being used to test first generation gortex, which was fine considering some soldiers wore Korean style winter gear. I got the gortex, it was awesome but our boots and gloves were terrible, but we made do, and worked through it.

@Sholi2000 @GinoHard_ Should look at recent stats with NCAA rules changing. Will Smith had 71 points as a freshman (25 goals in 38 games), and Celebrini had 64 points in 38 games (32 goals). So it’s hard to see how he’s anywhere close to them.

It's amazing to me that Liberals don't understand that Trump isn't the USA. USA isn't threatening Canada, trying to destroy our economy, and embarrassing our leaders on the World stage. Trump is four years of Pain, USA and Canada is forever. Both as friends, protectors, trade and NATO.
