I still remember the day I made this post. There's no type of insult I did not get that day. Just because you can't find the door does not mean there is no way out of the room. It's quite sad that the conversations around AI have been too focused on generating shitty code. You can actually put money in your pocket or solve a real problem. Things that I could not even imagine are now within reach. For instance, it would take 4 to 5 years to get a STEM degree, but now I can just go to Amazon and order books, read them, use NotebookLM to create flash cards, summaries, audio and visual explainers and sprint through materials that would have taken years to absorb without compromising on actual learning. And now, I have the framework to design a trading algorithm and the tools (LLMs) to implement it at an insane pace. I did not realize how far I have come until recently when I was discussing with another engineer who was building a bot for prediction markets. I was talking about probability theory completely off hand and citing authors from different books in between like it's nothing. Again, poverty is a choice.

Once you realize it is easier to go from 1 to 10 than from 0 to 1, you will never stop what you have started and persist. Small wins release dopamine, creating a self-reinforcing loop. Progress itself becomes motivating. Habits feel automatic rather than forced. But if you give up in the middle because there is no progress, each time you quit after a bright start, zone out, and go back to scratch, you force yourself to face that same heavy resistance again. You stop fighting the real problems ahead and start fighting the potential and the universe itself just to create the first movement. You are in a way demanding another first movement as if you could generate it endlessly on your own strength. But if the true first movement comes from God or the ultimate source beyond us, then persistence becomes not just wiser but utilitarian. Protect the motion once it has begun. Do not lightly snuff it out and demand the divine
