Im really happy paralives is going so good. Love the mods coming out too. Such a breath of fresh air. Passion is felt deep, especially from such transparent communication. Bug fixes in a matter of DAYS with no corporate bureaucracy 🥹

@swanettesims Don’t do it, just keep going. As you grow and gain more followers, the noise becomes louder, but you’ll learn to ignore the negativity and embrace the positivity. 🫶🏻

I am so close to just delete my Patreon and never upload anything ever again.

We can never make it right, can we? And people ask why I don‘t feel comfortable with sharing anything anymore. Like yes this community made me a gatekeeper.

@memebag_ @ParalivesGame okayyyy thank you because I thought I was doing something wrong, even though it worked locally and I checked EVERYTHING 😭 I sent information to the team, so hopefully they will be able to look into it soon.

@SimMattically @ParalivesGame yes!! i feel like ive tried everything. the texture is completely lost upon upload even though the texture file stays in the folder. it's so odd. i hope there's a fix soon

As much as I want to create CC for Paralives, I think it's pointless at the moment because after uploading a creation to the Workshop, the textures break, even though all the files are present. :\ Maybe you could look into it, @ParalivesGame? It seems to be working one moment and broken the next.

Obviously there is a difference between gameplay mods and 'CC,' which is just creating cosmetic objects. If it weren't for the issue with the textures, there is really no reason not to expand the furniture catalog already, ESPECIALLY since the game is in Early Access and there aren't that many assets. This was made with the assumption that at least cosmetic items would work while the mechanics are being improved. But then again, doing it this early and finding problems hopefully helps iron them out.

@SimMattically @ParalivesGame Genuine question from someone that's way out of this stuff: Why you all trying to mod the game already? It's in early access the team still working on the game Looks kinda counter-productive to my eyes since it can have lots of undesirable effects and bugs/break

@memebag_ @ParalivesGame That's why I kind of posted about it publicly, bc I wanted to see if any other creators have the EXACT same issue. So your mesh becomes white, as if the gray mask texture wasn't working??

Yeah, and I have no idea what is wrong with it. Nothing indicates it's my fault; it just breaks like that without any input or changes made to the working version. But I also read that even official content from the Paralives team published on the Workshop breaks for other people, so I think there might be some issues on their end.

Of course, the fault might be mine somewhere, but I don't fully understand how that could be if I can make the object work just fine in my game, only for it to suddenly break and fail to load correctly on other computers when downloaded from the Workshop. I thought I'm doing something wrong, but no. I got everything working and then upon opening the prefab again, everything just disappears. Super frustrating, I give up. :\

#ParalivesPartner One thing Paralives does really well is goal-based gameplay. With reactions to moods and long-term goals, there is basically always something to do when I lack internal direction. It keeps me occupied and I hope they continue to improve and add much more, as this is what keeps me engaged and playing for hours.
