Don’t just debate supply chains and dependencies! Our strength grows in our fields - secure them! Our German MEP Christine Singer: "While others talk about global dependencies, family-run farms secure the daily supply for millions of Europeans — in every region of Europe. Short distances. Local value creation. Expertise passed down through generations. And that is exactly what we must safeguard politically!” ❗ Those who believe food security is created in anonymous large-scale structures ignore reality. ❗ Those who burden our smaller farms with excessive bureaucracy endanger Europe’s food sovereignty. Food is not just another commodity. It is security. Culture. Identity. Die MEPs der @FREIEWAEHLER_BV werden heute den von Ursula von der Leyen vorgeschlagenen Kommissaren die Zustimmung geben, auch wenn wir von der Leyen selber für eine ungeeignete Kommissionschefin halten. Es ist die Kommission der Mitgliedsstaaten und nicht die von #vdL. Wir können es uns nicht leisten, noch länger zu warten. Wir freuen uns auf gute Zusammenarbeit!
