@snarkyjarky @DrP_Principal To present the alternate viewpoint, separating a child who has been shown to benefit from inclusion to a sped Ed classroom all day does not help them to learn and grow. They regress.

@DrP_Principal How to coordinate with intervention and SPED teachers. Explain how ‘exposing’ a student 2 or 3 grades behind to grade level standards does anything beyond making the student and teachers feel worse. What is the benefit? Cost cutting? Widening the gap? Crushing spirits?

@Theholisticpsyc I don’t know what to do about this with a coworker. I don’t want to give the silent treatment but am choosing not to interact with her because she is being rude to me every time we interact.

The silent treatment is a form of emotional abuse. Intentionally punishing someone with removal of love is a coping mechanism of emotionally immature people. It says: when you do something I don't like, I deny your very existence.

Took a real taxi for the first time in a while. They are more expensive than Uber, less comfortable, hot, you’ll fear for your well being and end up nauseated with a headache, but by god you will get to your destination faster than you ever thought possible. 10/10
