The NBA has disclosed to its 30 GMs a singular new anti-tanking reform that expands the draft lottery to 16 teams, flattens odds, and have a relegation zone where the bottom 3 teams are penalized with fewer lottery balls for the No. 1 pick. ESPN details: espn.com/nba/story/_/id…

"They're going to end up with a top-six pick, and I just hope it's top four." @MattGeorgeSAC reacts to the Sacramento Kings losing the tie-breaker with Utah for the 4th spot in the NBA Draft Lottery. Will it matter in the end, or will the Kings still get lucky? youtu.be/PIHPYBhJFPw

Sacramento can't fall further than 9th in this year's draft. Not all of these players have declared for the 2026 NBA Draft yet, but it's more than likely that one of these players will become a King in June: AJ Dybantsa Darryn Peterson Cameron Boozer Caleb Wilson Darius Acuff Jr. Kingston Flemings Keaton Wagler Brayden Burries Mikel Brown Jr.

With the coin flip loss: The Kings have a 45.1% chance of pick 1-4… and a 54.8% chance of picking 5-9.

The Sacramento Kings lost the coin flip to the Utah Jazz and are the No. 5 spot in the NBA Draft Lottery:

"We're very much aware we're at today. There's so many mechanisms that we can utilize from now into next season to make sure that we're not in the luxury tax, which we won't be." Sacramento Kings GM Scott Perry with @CarmichaelDave & @JasonRoss1140 on the team's cap situation:

Scott Perry talked about the importance of “organizational patience” when building a championship team. Highlighted how OKC and Indiana did that and says the Kings will do the same.

Now Max Raynaud and Draymond Green get in a minor scuffle 😳
