@pkblitz Yeah there were some flaws but idk. A 1-month hiatus and a couple of recaps intermingled within those weekly releases seemed a whole lot better. Steel Ball Run is def harder to animate and all, but I don’t want to act like cour releases all the way through January 2028 is good

@SlaydeeTrash Golden Wind is way shorter than SBR, and even so, it still had 3 whole-ass recap episodes across its entire run and a 1-month hiatus between episodes 37 and 38. It was still a miraculous production, but it wasn't without flaw (and there were no horses!)
SBR is just a bigger task.

Those of us who have been watching anime for a long time know the MASSIVE difference in production quality between long-running anime (Bleach, One Piece) compared to anime split in seasons or cours (Bleach: TYBW)

If it was dropped with the entire Jojo your statement would stand .

@SlaydeeTrash @Giksgyiek @theotakuinsider If anything, it’s more impressive that JoJo’s is still that high despite being review bombed. Even on MAL where it received the most downvotes it still at a 9.2 overall in 2nd place with just its 1st episode premiere.
SBR is going to have breaking bad level ratings.

The numbers don’t lie either, both having 20k reviews and only jojo going down .3-4 rating. You have zero clue what you’re talking about and are bitter for zero reason lmao
