The hate towards Jamahal Hill is unbelievable. This man was a UFC champion and starching people on the regular before tearing his Achilles. After such a serious injury, it's completely normal not to be back to 100% right away. I don’t get why people have to make such disgusting, inhumane comments. @SlipnRoll I mean there is some truth to this. Long reigning champs always increase viewership because people want to watch them lose. The reason viewership is going down is that it's simply too expensive now. UFC needs to abandon ppv....it's dead.

Isn’t it kind of funny? UFC viewership has been dropping significantly, and a big reason is that fans wanted to see the champions lose — the same champions who made divisions worth watching. They wanted Adesanya dethroned, and when it happened, interest in middleweight plummeted. Same with Usman in welterweight. People called Sean O’Malley a fraud, and after he lost, even though Merab is a beast, he doesn’t bring the same flair. Fans loved Pereira, but many also rooted for his loss just because he didn’t fight Ankalaev, or in other words, people thought he was ducking him… — now LHW feels flat too. UFC fans are kind of self-destructive. They hate the stars, but those stars were the reason they tuned in.
