@SnellingDavid @adrianoshea31 @smadsie @frickstips The handicapper is not allowed to take account of external factors, media reports, etc. They can ONLY base their opinions on actual form. The only argument you could have is whether they should take account of its hurdle rating but as that issue hardly ever arises no precedent

I’m not slating you I just think on what he’s achieved so far he could have given him anymore than 101,that’s not to say he can’t improve on that,Hamish started off in handicaps off 92,it did take him 10 runs to get to his peak 117,you’ll be hoping Con hill doesn’t take that long he’ll be about 15 🤣,he’s probably unlikely to run in handicaps anyway

@SnellingDavid @frickstips I think CH probably only has 1 year left at his best, so best to target big cash pots given most on downgrade by 10. 2 targets for me wd be Ebor and Melbourne Cup. After that wd be Saudi and Dubai if he's good enough. Not sure they hv time to also go g2/3 route.

On the face of it 25lb wud that be enough? I just don’t know lets hope they both run against each other in handicap so we can find out.

@SnellingDavid @frickstips The highest rated horse, with a BHA rating is Square Necker, rated 85. CH beat him by 9 1/2 lengths. Classical Illusion who he beat by 2 lengths has a AW rating of 85. I think the rating is probably on the harsh side considering what he beat
