Elliot got to spend the afternoon with his amazing coach @ralfdude90! Paul has been coaching EJ in VGC since 2020, so it was great for them to finally spend time together in person! EJ's travel award and Day 2 invite would not have been possible without Paul!

Worlds dates being held hostage for a marketing bit is very out of touch from tpci. I know the topic has been beaten to death but choosing a location as inaccessible as Hawaii and doing this is a huge slap in the face. Now competitors, spectators and families alike will struggle to find exactly what they need for accommodation and flights when it’s been all but confirmed that the convention center has had these dates for a while now. Bring back the announcement of dates at the closing ceremony at Worlds please and thank you 🙏

@thefleeee Yes! EJ is so stressed about the date announcement. He's worried the date will be different than everyone thinks it is, because his dad had to put in his 2024 vacation requests last week and if the date is different his dad wont be able to come support him.

Today was a good day. Hubby matched to a residency, Pika graduated from his therapy program, and I was offered a 2nd interview for a job I really want!

Possibly hot take pt 2: Genning is to VGC what steroids are to athletics. It's an artificial shortcut to spend less time doing the building, and more time doing the direct practice. Ergo if you aren't ok with steroids in sports, you shouldn't be ok with genning in VGC
