@ukhomeoffice The fact that anyone has a mark on their criminal record over this shit in the first place is a fucking travesty. Will the police be deleting all NHCI records they have harvested from law-abiding British citizens over the years?

Police time will no longer be wasted investigating legal social media posts, freeing up officers to patrol the streets and tackle real crime. By scrapping Non‑Crime Hate Incidents, we are balancing the protection of vulnerable communities while respecting free speech.

The grooming gangs scandal is one of the darkest moments in our country’s history - where the most vulnerable were abused and exploited by evil child rapists. The independent national Inquiry will now begin its work to uncover how these crimes were allowed to happen and root out failure wherever it occurred. The Inquiry will be laser‑focused on grooming gangs and will explicitly examine the role of ethnicity, religion and culture - including how institutions responded. There will be no hiding place for the predatory monsters who committed these vile crimes.

@SpeechUnion So they basically admit that this entire thing was unlawful, then? Really valid use of taxpayer money, that was. Fucking shameful.

The Free Speech Union
The Free Speech Union@SpeechUnion·
The Home Secretary has announced that police will no longer investigate online spats, as she finally calls time on non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs). Since its founding in 2020, the Free Speech Union has campaigned for the abolition of NCHIs, which have had a chilling effect on free speech. Shabana Mahmood has now confirmed that officers will no longer record or investigate incidents in a way that threatens lawful free speech or distracts them from solving real crime. Incidents will only be recorded where they are deemed relevant to the police’s “core duties” of preventing and solving crime. Mahmood has said: “Under these reforms, forces will no longer be policing perfectly legal tweets. Instead, they will be doing what they do best: patrolling our streets, catching criminals, and keeping communities safe.” For far too long, police forces across the country have focused on policing our tweets rather than our streets, undermining public trust and wasting police time and taxpayers’ money. Forces in England and Wales alone have spent at least 60,000 hours a year investigating and recording NCHIs, including cases involving a nine-year-old child and two schoolgirls who said a fellow student smelt “like fish”. The sinister nature of NCHIs was thrown centre stage last September when Irish comedian Graham Linehan was arrested by five armed police officers for three gender-critical posts. When the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced that no further action would be taken against Mr Linehan, the Metropolitan Police said they would no longer investigate NCHIs. In a bid to end the farcical recording of lawful speech and online spats, the threshold for recording incidents has been raised. Reports perceived to be motivated by genuine hate and hostility that meet the threshold will be recorded as anti-social behaviour (ASB) with a “prejudicial qualifier”, but will not be treated as a crime or use criminal terminology such as “offender” or “victim”. Personal data will only be recorded where there is a “genuine policing purpose and a real risk of harm remains”, under guidance drawn up by the College of Policing and approved by the National Police Chiefs’ Council. Police chiefs have also acknowledged that the way NCHIs have been used has had a “chilling effect on free speech”. General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young, said: “In short, this is an important victory, but the battle to protect free speech from overzealous policing continues.” He welcomed the decision by police chiefs to pursue a more common-sense approach that protects free speech, but expressed concern that nothing has been said about the tens of thousands of NCHIs still on police databases, or the risk of them appearing in enhanced employment checks — potentially preventing individuals from obtaining a job. Edward Snowden said it first: "When you say 'I don't care about the right to privacy because I have nothing to hide,' that's no different than saying 'I don't care about freedom of speech because I have nothing to say.'" "Simply because you are following the law, doesn't mean that you'll be exempt from governmental interference in your private life."

There continues to be an immense amount of fake news circulating around Restore Britain’s principles of immigration. Here is our position. Read it, and let me know if you agree… Step one. Remove the illegal migrant population. Two million? Three million? Even more? Doesn’t matter. They will all be detained, and they will all be deported. We will of course start with the third world invaders and foreign criminals - this is a day one priority. A Restore Britain Government would launch the largest deportation scheme in British history - we have the plan, we’ve already published the most comprehensive deportation scheme ever released. 100+ pages of it. We know how to do it. Now we are seeking the power to implement it. The illegals are the priority. Foreign criminals go too, but that doesn’t even need discussing anymore. They’re out the door on the first flight home. What happens to them in their own country is not our problem. Step two. Legal migrants who can’t speak English, refuse to work, claim benefits, live in social housing, hate our way of life or even actively want to do us harm? They go too - hopefully voluntarily. If not, they will be removed. Dual nationals who want to kill us? Strip them off their British citizenship and send them back. Foreign Islamists, gone. Dual national Islamists, gone. If foreigners want to live in an Islamic country, we will make that a reality for them. This would all be twinned with drastic reductions of the number of people settling in the country, and I mean drastic. It will be in the thousands, not the hundreds of thousands. Who can come? Ultra high-skilled migrants to fill gaps, and spouses of British men and women. We would ease that process, allowing Brits to bring their husband/wives into our country without the endless bureaucracy, red tape and cost - allowing them to build a family. That is positive immigration. We will encourage it. All done alongside our Red List. If a country is proven to supply us with sex pests, rapists, criminals and illegals? We will shut off entire visa routes. We will discriminate based on the evidence. Afghanistan would be top of that list. Those Afghans who came following the data breach would be removed and relocated. All of them. The asylum system would be abolished in its entirety. ILR would be scrapped. Benefits for foreign nationals would be cancelled. Social housing currently filled with foreigners would be freed for British families. The whole immigration scam would finally end. When a visa ends, that individual will be expected to leave Britain - that principle will be enforced for the first time in decades. And here’s a mad idea. Our aim would be to train the millions of healthy Brits on benefits to do these jobs. This is just so painfully obvious. If they don’t like it, they lose their universal credit. Simple. None of this is complicated. It just takes balls. The number of people living in Britain would radically reduce - millions would go during the first five years of a Restore Britain Government. Millions. Our immigration system would put one group of people at the top of the agenda. The British people. If you want all of this - vote for it. Join Restore Britain, support Restore Britain. Put us in power, and we will get it done. I promise you that.

@A1an_M As much as I don't trust the NHS, a basic poo test can save your life and they can't really mess it up. Not doing one just because you don't like the organisation is straight up retarded.

The NHS has written to me. What for, I wonder. I haven't been to a GP in years. Vaccines? Cholesterol check? Bowel? Prostate? There was a time before 2020 when I'd just do what they advised without really thinking. Now, I'm weighing up the possibility their intervention will make my health worse.

An encouraging number of young women getting involved in Restore Britain. It turns out they quite appreciate a political party that puts their safety and wellbeing ahead of the third world sex pests who have broken into our country. Not a massive surprise, is it?
