This is A LOT of guesswork but we don’t know much about what happened to the main cast’s bodies after the headset was put on or much of the outside world apart from glimpses into their memories and what Kinger and Abel told us when C&A was operational, we only ever see the office

Crackpot theory I lowkey think people are being lured into the C&A offices to put the headset on that’s connected to the TADC program and retrieve scans of their brain for data, and their bodies go into a comatose state and are preserved in cryogenic pods like mentioned in ep7

Feeding into a cycle of the digital circus never ending as people keep getting pulled in and stored away, realistically if their bodies stopped working after the headset, where would they go? I believe some of the stuff in ep7 although being again an adventure hold some truth
