@hardwaypod To be clear - PTT as in wireless, Bluetooth relayed, handlebar mount button to operate mic.
In that note, from what I gather the actual quality of the radio transmissions are pretty bad. Is there any logic to having a universally available relay through a helo mounted receiver?
@hardwaypod I brought up the idea of "push to talk" radios on the old Cycling Tips forums and people talked down to me like I was the biggest idiot. Thanks for validating my thoughts that this would be safer than having to find and pinch a button through a jersey at top speed.
@danecash Ah ok. I was just more focused on ability to fill the board even if if took a bunch of guesses, but have it be "penalized" accordingly. That being said I love the idea and the game. Love what you guys at EC are doing, keep it up!
@SoHardBro 1. No way to stop ppl from using PCS, but you can always agree not to with your friends and then only pay attention to the standings in your own crew
2. Paris-Tours isn’t a WorldTour race!
3. Even if it were, we *are* having some issues today so bear with us
@danecash since we know people are doping Bike Grid- is there a way to differentiate the "rules"? I was thinking of having a "Pro" version with current rules, and a "Sportive" version with unlimited guesses- basically for a casual fan who wants the challenge of playing... 1/
People talk about a lack of innovation in bike racing route design but what would you like to see? I’ll go first
A shortish 3-4km uphill TT with no UCI bike rules meaning manufacturers can show off their super light offerings. Or basically a UK HillClimb in the WorldTour
@Ludacris I want to live in a world where there is an expanded Fast and Furious universe. You should play The Bandit role in a Smokey and the Bandit remake. Who y'all want to be Snowman?
