Awesome start to our day at the US Capitol! After a quick stop at the Supreme Court, we are off to Arlington to participate in a wreath laying ceremony during the changing of the guard. What an honor!

‼️Why Kids Quit Sports‼️ 70% of children are dropping out of organized sports by the age of 13. 5 main reasons: 1. It’s no longer fun. 2. They have lost ownership of the experience. 3. They don’t get playing time. 4. They are afraid to make mistakes. 5. They feel disrespected. Therefore…it is our obligation as coaches, parents, and adults to: 1. Create life-giving experience. 2. Instill a “Get to vs. Have to” mentality. 3. Set up value system not based on playing time. 4. Encourage risk…”If you aren’t making mistakes, you aren’t doing anything.” 5. Love BIG!

We had an amazing time with our U14 Belding Cup! Congratulations to the Green team for winning in an intense PK shootout in the Championship match. The future of soccer in Belding is bright!

Excited for our U14 Belding Cup Tournament this Saturday. Going to be a great day of seeing our up and coming boys and girls playing some quality soccer. We are also excited to announce that @_carman_jones_ will be the tournament commissioner!

Your talent may be a big separator for a while, but don’t rely on that longterm. Your drive & discipline will eventually become more noticeable than your abilities. Lots of people have talent. Very few have the work ethic to learn, fail, practice, grow. Standout skills for life!

Less than 3 weeks till our Elite ID Camp. 19 of our 31 girls on our Fall 2023 roster have previously attended our ID Camps - not including 5 of which arrived during covid when we did not have camps. Who’s next? 👀

It’s really NOT about the height of the keeper that good ⚽️ coaches care about… It’s how BIG a keeper plays I’ve seen 6’2 keepers play small & weak & I’ve seen 5’2 keepers play BIG, Strong, & never falter
