I am extremely blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic journey at Winthrop University! 🦅 The journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge and success has made me stronger and more grateful for the game. To my parents, thank you for every mile driven, every sacrifice, and for always believing in me through it all. To my former coaches and teammates, thank you for shaping me into the player and person I am today. While I absolutely loved every minute of the ride with my @SoftballTdb family and wish we could have finished together thru my senior year ….. God had other plans. Coach Paul Blackwell, thank you for your time and dedication—we understand #FamilyFirst .💕 Our TDB team has signed out. 😢 I truly cannot thank all of my @SoftballTdb , teammates, or families enough—you embraced me from Day-1….it was as if we had been playing together for years and I’ll forever be grateful for our bond. Unfortunately, my season has been cut short due to a knee injury. “I don’t know why this happened, but I trust that God has a plan for me — Jeremiah 29:11.” I want to thank my @SoftballTdb family for their support throughout the year and for always believing in me. To the coaches whose camps I attended and those who came out to watch me play — thank you for your time & interest. Just know that I’ll be back stronger and better than ever!!! I am committed to using this time to focus on strength training and improving my skillset. Special thanks to @Jaden_ponee for your words of encouragement. This season, I helped lead my team to a 15-5-1 record, finishing with a .391 batting average, a .451 on-base percentage, and a .565 slugging percentage. I hit 2 home runs, drove in 11 RBIs, and stole 7 bases.
