I don't know, I'm a Lutheran (converted out of Catholicism) and I'm a quartodeciman. The date doesn't really matter as much as the message, early churches celebrated on different days.
Also, the date of Easter was set at Nicaea, which last I checked, the Bishop of Rome had slept in that day and couldn't make it. It seemed to be more of a decision from Constantinople than of Rome.

If you broaden the definition it completely loses its meaning. At what point is a wolf hybrid no longer a wolf? Three generations? Four?
Obviously there’s an element of social labeling with something like race, but no one would say a dog that’s a quarter wolf is just a “dog”- race is an obvious mixture of genetics with sociological implications.
Hence European is “white”, and if someone is a quarter non-white or non-European, then obviously they’re not white, they’re mixed.
